Definition: जब किसी वाक्य (sentence) मे कार्य जारी (ongoing) पाया जाय तो उसे present continuous या present progressive tense कहते है।
और english के sentences एवं exercises मे verb देखकर इस tense की
पहचान की जाती है।
उदाहरण: running, jumping, talking, e.t.c
हिंदी मे पहचान : जिस किसी भी वाक्य के अंत मे रही है, रहे है, रहा है, रहे हो,रहा हूं आदि शब्द आते हो तो वह वाक्य Present Continuous Tense होते है।

- वह बच्चों के साथ खेल रही है।
- नेहा खिचड़ी पका रही है।
- महेंद्र अपना काम कर रहा है।
- चिड़िया तेज़ उड़ रही है।
- हम आप को याद कर रहे है।
Affirmative sentence ofpresent continuous tenseRule for [Hindi to English]:-- Subject के अनुसार ही Helping verb is, are, am मे से किसी एक को लिखेगे।
- यदि subject ( He , She , Name, ) हो तो Helping verb “Is” का प्रयोग करेंगे।
- यदि subject ( We, You , They, ) हो तो Helping verb “are” का प्रयोग करेंगे।
- यदि subject ( I ) हो तो Helping verb “am” का प्रयोग करेंगे।

Subject + Helping Verb (is/am/am) + verb (first form) ing + object…..
